    AS Roma consider move for Tottenham defender

    AS Roma have failed to find agreement with Real Madrid over the transfer of Nacho Fernandez, but the giallorossi still need to find a central defender this summer as they need a replacement for Antonio Rudiger who picked up a knee injury at the end of last season.

    Tottenham have offered the services of Federico Fazio and Walter Sabatini is considering the signing of the 29-year-old centre-back who joined the Spurs in a € 10 million deal from Sevilla back in 2014.

    Fazio returned to his old club in the winter transfer window on a six-month loan and AS Roma have been offered to sign the Argentinean defender with Italian passport on a loan deal with option to buy.
