The main names at midfield are always Herrera from Porto and Rabiot from PSG. Both the player’s contracts expire in 2019. Despite this, they are not Monchi’s targets for January, their negotiation can be opened in June. For the winter market, a name that could then be interesting is van de Beek from Ajax. Class 1997, the young midfielder already scored 6 goals this season, becoming one of the most requested young talents on the market. If Monchi wants to bring him to Rome, he needs to offer at least 18 million euros to Ajax.
