AS Roma star Radja Nainggolan open to Chelsea, Barcelona move!
“Too many things have been said about my future, I’ve just extended my contract so I can also stay here”, the Belgium International revealed to the Italian paper.
“I’ve already proved I want to stay, I haven’t spoke with Conte and I don’t even know if they [Chelsea] really want me.”
“Someone has even said I had already told my friends I would have joined Chelsea, that’s not true. I can’t talk about things I still don’t know.”
“I’ve only been in London a couple of times, I think Milan is better….but I am not moving to Inter. I used to support them when I was as child, but it doesn’t mean I am going to move there in the future.”
Apparently, a move to Barcelona is also a very attractive option for the former Cagliari midfielder.
“If they call me, why shouldn’t I listen to them? I am trying to give my best for Roma at the moment, like I’ve always done. My family and I are happy here, but I want to be honest: which player would refuse a move to the best team in the world?”
Asked whether he’d prefer being a AS Roma’s captain or an average player at Barcelona, the 27-year-old answered: “The captain band doesn’t make any difference, what really matters is battling it out on the pitch alongside your teammates.”
