The Welsh striker spoke to Premium Sport but did not hide his optimism in view of the Cardiff final: "It was a difficult season with regard to injury, but I have worked hard in the last four weeks to recover and come back for this finale in my hometown. A dream to play in Cardiff? Surely, for any player to play in the city where he was born and raised is a really special occasion. I am really training hard, I do double sessions at the gym to try to be in the best possible conditions and be protagonist in this final. Zidane said it will be a balanced game? Of course, I think most of the finals are very tight matches. However, both teams did very well in this Champions League, so we expect a very difficult game, where the details will make a big difference. However, I think we have a good chance of winning.”

ON DYBALA - “Dybala danger number one? They have very dangerous players in all areas of the field. They are very strong in defense but also have good attacking players. They are a complicated team to deal with, as we are. Glad you said I'm faster while Isco is more dynamic? Honestly it is not for me to say, however yes we have two options in the team.
