Ballon d’Or 2017: Roma, Man Utd and Spurs stars among nominees

France Football is releasing the names of the 30 nominees for the 2017 Ballon d’Or. The group of 30 players will be released in five different times through the day. The popular French publication has just named the latest five footballers that are being included in the list (check out the full shortlist here).

The likes of Kevin De Bruyne (Manchester City), Robert Lewandowski (Bayern), David De Gea (Manchester United), Harry Kane (Tottenham), Edin Dzeko (Roma) are among the nominees for the most important award for a footballer.

Cristiano Ronaldo is regarded as the most likely winner of the Ballon d’Or having his Real Madrid side won both La Liga and the Champions League last season. Ronaldo has already won four Ballon d’Or in his career.
