According to reports out of England, Barcelona are offering star midfielder Rafinha to English Premier League giants Arsenal. The talented 24 year old is currently out through injury and has not joined his teammates yet in their preseason training. As space is always difficult to find in the central midfield for the Catalan club, an offer to Arsenal would grant Rafinha space to grow and mature while gaining important consistent match experience. In the past, Liverpool have also been linked with the Blaugrana star, but nothing has ever come to fruition.

As Arsenal look to rebuild and strengthen their squad in hopes to catch the EPL monsters Chelsea and both Manchester clubs, a reliable central midfielder is a requirement for the Gunners to balance and complete their team. Unfortunately Rafinha will not likely come cheaply, as Barca value him in the 20-25 million EUR range. Also on Arsenal’s radar is Juve’s Mario Lemina, who is scouted by other Premier League teams, but would come cheaper than the Barca star.
