Barcelona alerted as ‘secret’ release clause of Bundesliga star revealed

Barcelona are looking for reinforcements at the back and according to several reports in Germany the La Liga giants have set their sights on RB Leipzig defender Dayot Upamecano. Trouble is, the talented French defender has just signed a contract extension with the Bundesliga giants and a new € 100 million release clause has been included in his deal.

The 19-year-old, however, is not the only Bundesliga defender to have been targeted by the La Liga giants.

According to the latest report of German paper Bild, in fact, Barcelona are also interested in signing Joathan Tah, one of the most exciting defenders in Europe at the moment whose contract with Bayer Leverkusen is set to expire in June 2020.

The German paper is reporting that Tah has a release clause of € 25 million included in his contract with the Bundesliga giants.

This is the first time that the player’s release clause is being reported and if the news is confirmed many top European clubs will resume their interest in the Germany star with Livepool and Arsenal who had previously been linked with a move for the 21-year-old defender.
