Barcelona bound-winger wants AC Milan return

No secret that a few months ago Barcelona were planning to take Gerard Deulofeu back to Spain. The Spaniard had finally shown his skills during his-month spell at AC Milan and the blaugrana were considering (and are still considering) whether to activate their € 12 million buy-back clause to take the Spaniard back to the Cam Nou.

Barcelona, however, are still in two minds and the player believes that a return to Barcelona won’t be the best option for his future. Thanks to his AC Milan loan spell, Deulofeu has made return to Spain national team and according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport he wants to make return to the San Siro.

The 23-year-old, in fact, joined the rossoneri in a dry loan spell last January and, at the moment, he has made return to his former club Everton, waiting for Barcelona’s final decision on his future.

Despite Barcelona’s option to buy, Deulofeu can refuse to return to Barcelona. The World Cup will be played in Russia next summer and he wants to be part of Spain national team. In order to do that he needs to get as much game time as he can. AC Milan can meet the player’s expectations and Barcelona may not, that’s why Deulofeu wants to make return to AC Milan. The rossoneri have talked about Deulofeu’s future during yesterday’s meeting with Everton’s Steve Walsh.
