Barcelona claim Neymar will stay '200%' despite PSG interest

Barcelona are claiming that Neymar isn’t going anywhere (via Sky Sports).

Vice-president Jordi Mestre claims that the 25-year-old will stay, despite interest from Paris Saint-Germain, who are reported to be ready to pay his 222 million release clause.

An essential component of the attacking MSN trio, Neymar has the edge over Lionel Messi and Luis Suarez, as he is younger than both by a four (Suarez) and six-year margin (Messi).

Asked at a press conference whether Neymar would remain at Barcelona, Mestre simply said he would, "200 per cent".

Recent reports from Brazil indicated that the former Santos man, who has heavily courted by PSG last winter before they desisted, wants to play a bigger role, outside of Lionel Messi’s shadow.

One journalist claimed that the attacking midfielder had already told Brazilian team-mates and friends Dani Alves, Marquinhos and Lucas that he was going to move to the French capital.
