Barcelona, Malcom: “My mum cried after my goal against Inter”
After a very disappointing start of season, Malcom is again a player considered by Barcelona manager Ernesto Valverde. “I had problems at the beginning. I didn’t play, and I didn’t understand why. So, I went to Valverde and we talked, we clarified. In the end he gave me some good advice: he told me what I had to do to improve; but, above all, he made me understand how I had to behave to be part of this group”, has declared the Brazilian winger as reported from Fox Sports.
Then he reveals what happened when he scored against Inter in Champions League: “I come from a family where we had nothing. As a kid, I had to go to train by bus and I came back late in the evening. My parents made a lot of sacrifices for me, so after the game against I called my mom. When she answered, I heard her crying: I knew she was happy for me, because she knows how much I had to sweat for this chance”.
