Barcelona: Messi tells Valverde to sign these three players this summer

According to reports in Don Balon, Barcelona superstar Lionel Messi has told new boss Ernesto Valverde the three players that he believes he should bring into the squad this summer. The portal understands that the Argentine has suggested that the new man at the helm should go for Leicester City midfielder Riyad Mahrez, Liverpool play-maker Philippe Coutinho and PSG star Marco Verratti.

Algerian international Mahrez has already stated that he intends to leave The King Power Stadium this summer with Arsenal also very keen on securing his services. Coutinho on the other hand, is already on the Blaugrana’s radar with team-mate Neymar, who is best friends with the Brazilian, trying to persuade him to instigate a move out of Anfield.

Verratti is another player whose future is uncertain. The Italian international, should he decide to leave the French capital, is expected to command a transfer fee somewhere in the region of £60M and the player recently stated that it would not be his decision to leave his current employer.
