Barcelona to pay release clause of exciting Spanish wonderkid

Barcelona are keen to sign Spanish starlet Ferran Torres and according to Mundo Deportivo the Blaugrana are open to trigger the player’s € 8 million release clause.
The 17-year-old is one of the brightest products of Valencia academy so much so Valencia head coach Marcelino wants to promote him to senior team and make him debut in the senior team by the end of the season.

Torres’s current Valencia deal expires in 2019 and Barcelona are keeping a close eye on the talented right winger who has already been contacted by representatives of Barcelona.

According to the Catalan paper, Barcelona have already decided to pay the player’s release clause and need to convince the player to move the Camp Nou.

Torres, in fact, wants to play senior football as soon as possible but Barcelona would ‘only’ offer him a chance to join their B squad or, possibly, join another club on loan so he can develop.

The La Liga giants are now trying to persuade the player’s entourage as the decision over the player’s acquisition has already been taken.
