Bayern boss calls Renato Sanches' switch to Man United a 'possibility'

Bayern Munich boss Carlo Ancelotti has dropped a huge hint as to the future of midfielder Renato Sanches by admitting that the Portugal international could well leave the club this summer window, according to the Daily Star.

The Guardian were the first to suggest that the 19-year-old could be made available for a fee around £40m – and this has prompted Red Devils boss Jose Mourinho to reignite their interest in the teenage sensation.

Ancelotti has now come out to say,  “The market stops August 31 at the moment he is working with us and training with us.

“When we have time to take a decision together it can be a possibility.

“[It is] also a possibility he stays with us and helps us.”

The reigning Europa League champions had been keen on the player when he was at Benfica, before he made the switch to the Bundesliga giants in 2016.

Man United manager Jose Mourinho is on the lookout for a player to bolster his midfield, with Chelsea’s Nemanja Matic and Tottenham Hotspur’s Eric Dier still on the table, but with Sanches, the Portuguese boss will have an ever-improving player who can mould as his own, as the side look towards a Premier League title next season.
