Belgian international wants to stay at Man City for a long time

Kevin De Bruyne is set to remain at Manchester City for a very long time, if his latest comments are anything to go by.

The former Wolfsburg man has just revealed in an interview that he wants to remain with Pep Guardiola's side.

City have made a perfect start under the Spaniard this season, and are coming off a beauty of a 4-2 win over Napoli.

The 26-year-old has been on fire this season, and credits that to Guardiola:

“Since Pep came to the club, he plays a style of football I like to play, so it makes it easy as a player,” he told Sky Sports.

The Belgian international scored six goals and made a massive eighteen assists in Premier League action last season.

He has got off to a superb start this time round, having already notched six assists in the EPL so far.

Chelsea may regret letting the Belgian starlet go, seeing as he is now one of the best midfielders on the continent at the Etihad.

“I like it here, it is the perfect environment and since I came here there has been a lot of trust in me.

"I like the project they are doing from the moment I came here.

"There was an older team (when I first arrived), they did a lot of transfers, a lot of young people, they are building for the future.

"I like the project and I am really happy here and I see myself being a long time here.”
