Belotti: AC Milan challenge Man Utd with improved bid for €100m Serie A star

AC Milan are interested in signing Torino star Andrea Belotti and according to today’s edition of La Gazzetta dello Sport (Via Pianeta Milan), they have made an improved bid to sign the Italian star.

Belotti has recently signed a contract extension with Torino and a € 100 million release clause has been included in his new contract.

AC Milan have made a loan offer to sign Belotti which is still not quite close to reaching Torino’s asking price.

The rossoneri have reportedly made a € 20 million loan offer with a mandatory € 60 million option to buy.

The release clause, however, can only be activated by non-Serie A clubs. Manchester United and Chelsea are being heavily linked with a summer move for the Italian star given that both Premier League clubs are in desperate need of a new striker next season. Manchester United have put Alvaro Morata on top of their summer shopping list but the Spaniard’s price-tag has dramatically raised in the last few weeks.
