Belotti set for new Torino contract but there are still good news for Chelsea and AC Milan
Both European giants were linked with welcoming the player’s services in the summer but Torino refused to sell the player for less than his € 100 million release clause.
Belotti is on a € 2 million-a-year deal (including add-ons) and his new salary could be in the region of € 3 million-a-year.
Torino, however, are not going to extend the player’s contract length as Belotti’s new deal is also going to expire in June 2021, just like the current one.
Torino are also not going to change Belotti’s release clause which mean the 24-year-old will still be available on the market for € 100 million next season.
Technically the player’s release clause is only valid for clubs outside Serie A but it is widely known that Torino would also accept to sell the player in Italy for the same fee.
