Chelsea boss Antonio Conte is clear about his future at Stamford Bridge and wouldn’t be interested in returning to managing the Italian national side.

Italy failed to qualify for the next year’s FIFA World Cup following a 1-0 defeat to Sweden on aggregate on Monday. This was the first time after 1958 that the Azzurri have failed to qualify for the World Cup. It was after the ousting that Giampiero Ventura resigned from post as the Italy boss.

Antonio Conte, who had been linked with the hotspot, is focused on his current job at Chelsea, dealing a blow to Italy’s hopes of signing the former Juventus boss, report Sky Sports.

There was been murmurs of discontent among the Chelsea players and the staff regarding Conte’s presence, but the 48-year-old doesn’t want to move from Stamford Bridge. While Milan will look to sign him in June, early contact has already been made.
