Blow for Liverpool and Lazio as target signs new deal

Athletic Bilbao forward Iker Muniain has recently been linked with moves to Liverpool, Lazio, Roma and Napoli, as the Spaniard’s contract with the Basque club was set to expire next summer. However, despite speculation that Muniain would seek a move elsewhere, it has been today confirmed that he will be signing on at the club, with a new deal keeping him in Bilbao till 2024.
