BOCA INTERESTED - Medel’s contract at Inter is due to expire on June 30, 2018, and a sale would minimally impact the club’s long term project while yielding it to a sale near 7 million EUR, and would entail an important capital gain. Boca Juniors has long been on his tracks and President Angelici has confirmed in Argentina that "Medel has the right characteristics for Boca". The problem that holds up the deal? Medel's wages with Inter are about 1.8 million EUR. Should he stay with the Nerazzuri that number could go up to 2.5 million, a number far out of Boca’s budget, who still hope for a discount.
