Breaking: Juve reach agreement with Arsenal keeper, enter transfer talks with Gunners

Juventus have identified Arsenal goalkeeper Wojciech Szczesny as a possible replacement for Gigi Buffon who will hang his boots in 12 months. According to a report of Sky Sport (via ilbianconero), the Old Lady are close to landing the Poland International. The Champions League finalists have offered Szczesny a four-year, € 4 million-a-year deal and are ready to offer Arsenal € 16 million to sign the 27-year-old goalkeeper.

The Gunners are open to sell their goalkeeper for some cash and the offer of the Old Lady could be enough to land the talented goalkeeper who has spent the last two seasons in Italy.

Szczesny played for AS Roma from summer 2015 until the end of the current campaign but AS Roma have failed to make the player’s loan move permanent twice.

Arsenal are yet not considering Szczesny starting material and Napoli are also believed to be interested in signing him. The offer of the Old Lady, however, means she is now in pole position for the Arsenal goalkeeper.
