Breaking: Morata to Chelsea is a done deal as Blues and Real Madrid agree price-tag

Chelsea and Real Madrid have agreed Alvaro Morata’s price-tag, according to a report of Sky Italia.

The transfer fee of the Spaniard has not been revealed although a previous report had suggested that the Blues would have paid a fee in the region of € 80 million to seal the transfer of the product of Real Madrid academy.

Antonio Conte wanted to sign Morata at Juventus in 2014 but the Spaniard arrived in Turin just a few weeks after the Italian had resigned as the Old Lady’s boss.

Morata also revealed a few months ago that he had held talks with Conte one year ago but his move to Chelsea could not go through due to Real Madrid’s reluctance to sell.

The player, however, has been pushing to leave the Bernabeu in the summer as he wanted to get more game time and after his move to Manchester United collapsed, Chelsea seem to have finally reached an agreement to welcome his services.

Morata will soon become a new Chelsea player, whilst Manchester United confirmed the signing of Romelu Lukaku last week.
