Lorenzo Tonelli to Napoli is almost a done deal. The Empoli centre-back is very likely to become the first signing of the partenopei in the 2016-17 campaign.

Maurizio Sarri’s side have reached an agreement with the Tuscan club over the Florence-born defender’s transfer. Tonelli, 26, will move to the San Paolo for a fee of € 10 million in the summer.

The player has yet to find an economic agreement with the azzurri, but has already voiced appreciation for a potential move to Napoli which would allow him to rejoin with his former coach Maurizio Sarri.
