    BREAKING NEWS: Iachini sacked, Ballardini is Palermo new boss

    In the last matchday of the Serie A, Palermo defeated Chievo 1-0, but, evidently, the Sicilian club’s president Maurizio Zamparini had already made his decision: through their official website, in fact, the rosanero have announced this morning to have fired their first team’s head coach Giuseppe Iachini.

    The former Fiorentina midfielder has been replaced by Davide Ballardini, who has already coached the rosanero seven years ago, and who has signed until the end of the season.

    Through his official Twitter profile, Palermo ace Franco Vazquez announced: “I woke up this morning with this news. I am sorry, but football is also made by such terrible injustice. I will always be grateful to Iachini for what he has done for me and the team”
