Breaking: 'no Lukaku deal' for Man United
Recent news indicated that the Red Devils had agreed to a £75 million fee with Everton over the 24-year-old superstar.
Closely linked to Chelsea over recent times, the Belgian now looks set to move to Old Trafford, only for the London radio’s sources to tell them that the news was 'premature' and 'no deal has been reached'.
Lukaku has scored 53 goals over the last three seasons’ worth of Premier League action, and was acquired (after an initial loan) for €35 million by the Goodison Park side.
The Toffees are said to want a stunning £100m for their man, and United hope to have him ready for their upcoming tour of the United States.
British journalist Matt Lawton had confirmed that the two sides had “agreed” to a deal, as indicated below.
Senior United sources maintain deal for Lukaku 'agreed'. Clearly a bit of semantics when it comes to what two clubs are briefing.
