Breaking: No Real Madrid deal for Spain starlet, Betis president says

Real Madrid are reported to be interested in signing Betis started Dani Ceballos and although reports in Spain claim the U21 Spain International is close to completing a € 15 million move to the Santiago Bernabeu, the president of Betis Sevilla has denied that his starlet is close to moving in the Spanish capital.

“Dani is a player of Betis and we want him to remain with us”, Angel Haro told As.

“There are many clubs interested in signing him but we’ve never talked with Real Madrid. We’ll negotiate at the right time, we want Ceballos to stay and we hope he wants the same.”

Ceballos, 20, is shining with U21 Spain national team and his release clause is reported to be € 9 million only. The Merengues, however, would sign him for € 15 million, keeping him on loan at Betis for one season, according to reports in Spain.
