Breaking: PSG want to dump Barca replacement for Neymar
As has been reported today, Barcelona could lose Neymar in a 222 million move to Paris Saint-Germain.
Lionel Messi is one player who has long lobbied for Di Maria, as he gets on with him well when the two both represent Argentina.
Di Maria is most likely to leave PSG, however, because he has a significant salary, and his role would be under threat if Neymar joined.
Real had originally inserted an “anti-Barca” clause when he moved to Manchester United three seasons ago for € 75m. Then again, it’s not active any more, not since PSG signed him.
The 28-year-old has scored sixteen Ligue 1 goals for PSG since his € 63m move from Old Trafford.
Di Maria has been linked alongside Philippe Coutinho of Liverpool and Paulo Dybala, but also Julian Draxler.
