Brendan Rodgers knew Liverpool would sack him

Celtic manager Brendan Rodgers has claimed his Liverpool sacking was inevitable and he even went on to suggests that he would have lost his job, even if the Merseyide club would have won the title in the 2013-14 season.

“I would still have been sacked for sure. You only need to look at the evidence all around. Not in modern football. Not in new football,” Rodgers said.
