Niang returns to team training - Milan score 0.5 goals less per game without him

It's been a weekend to forget for AC Milan, but one which fans won't be able to block out for quite some time.

A furious Christian Brocchi had his players hit Milanello at 11 o'clock so that he could put them through some tough tactical drills. Something isn't working, and Milan's interim manager has to think about next week's Coppa Italia final with Juventus.

The good news is that M'Baye Niang has recovered sufficiently not just to train, but to train with his team-mates. What a day to return! The Frenchman has expressed confidence in his recovery, and his chances of making the Coppa Italia final.

Will he make a difference? The Rossoneri scored 1.54 goals a game in Serie A in 2016 with the Frenchman. Without him... 0.9.
