Gianluidi Buffon received a lot of compliments earlier on from Ivan Rakitic. The Croatian midfielder even said that he would've given his place to Gigi Buffon at next summer's World Cup if this was possible. Here is how Gigi Buffon responded to Ivan Rakitic: " Dear Rakitic, I can still play as a keeper but to play as a midfielder for Croatia instead of you wouldn't be a very good idea. Jokes aside, your words meant a lot to me. Thank you to you and Jordi Alba: my jersey will be waiting for you guys at the end of the game...".
