Chelsea started off the game with their usual dominant approach away from home and in the 22nd minute, Sarri's team was rewarded, with Alvaro Morata netting his third goal of the Premier League campaign. Ross Barkley assisted the Spaniard with a great through ball.

In the 30th minute, coach Sarri had to make a forced change, with Pedro sustaining an injury. Youngster Ruben Loftus-Cheek replaced him.

At halftime, Chelsea were still in a 1-0 lead, with Alvaro Morata's goal being the difference. The Blues dominated Burnley and has 67% possession of the ball and 8 shots, with 4 of them going on target, while the home side did not manage to target any shot on Arrizabalaga's goal.

In the second half, Chelsea continued dominating their opponent and more fruit arrived. In the 57th minute, Ross Barkley scored a fantastic long-range goal to double the lead.

Towards the end of the match, Sarri sent Giroud and Cesc Fabregas on the pitch to freshen things up and eventually, his team managed to secure a fourth goal in Burnley's net, as substitute Loftus-Cheek scored a goal in stoppage time to guarantee the win.
