Calhanoglu says he is 'happy at AC Milan' amid Leipzig rumours

AC Milan's Turkish midfielder, Hakan Calhanoglu, spoke to DAZN about his future with the club, amid reports linking with a January transfer.

"In football, it's normal to have highs and lows during a season. I think this period can strengthen us moving forward, we are three points behind the Champions League, everything is still at stake.

"Biglia and Bonaventura are both injured, so I have to play in their place from time to time. My position is decided by Gattuso. I like to play behind the strikers, but it doesn't matter. The important thing is to stay focused on the game.

"My future? I'm happy at Milan, I'm happy with Gattuso and his staff, I feel very good here.

"Gattuso? The relationship is really good, even when he gets angry with me. I accept this because he's a coach with a winning mentality. It's better not to say anything, otherwise he'll slap you, I've gotten many of those."
