Cannavaro appointed new China national team coach
It has now been confirmed that Cannavaro is splitting roles from the club he manages in China- Guangzhou Evergrande, with clarification yet to arrive about whether he is the temporary manager or the permanent man in charge.
He replaces Marcello Lippi, who has been in charge since 2016 and was the manager who oversaw Cannavaro and his teammates lift the World Cup in 2006.
