Despite claiming that a return to Serie A is not in his plans, Fabio Capello may still be looking to coach in the Bel Paese.

As revealed by his son, Pierfilippo Capello, the former England manager could accept an offer from an Italy club.

Furthermore, Don Fabio was in San Siro to watch Milan against Bologna last Sunday afternoon.

“My father was in San Siro just for his nephews, who wanted to go to stadium with him. Milan were kind enough to host him,” explained Pierfilippo.

“He is fascinated by the opportunity to be both a coach and a director. Now he is ready and motivated.

“My dad always said he wanted a new challenge and having lived away from Italy for 4-5 years may mean that a return home is possible. That would be either on the bench or behind a desk working as a director.

“For all I know, at the moment, there are no negotiations with Chelsea, Inter, Juve or Milan.”

    • Palermo on Alustiza

According to reports, Palermo are following Deportivo de Quito ace Matias Alustiza.

The Argentine already failed twice in Europe and has returned to South America following his spells at Albacete and Xerez.

In Ecuador, the player has once again been able to shine becoming one of the top-scorers in the Copa Libertadores (six goals in five appearances).

Alustiza is a similar player to Fabrizio Miccoli and will turn 28 next May. Palermo are watching him closely and could sign him in the summer.

    • De Sanctis may quit Napoli

The Italian goalkeeper may leave the San Paolo if the Azzurri fail to offer him a contract renewal.

Morgan De Sanctis has a contract expiring in June 2013 but his desire is to end the career in Napoli.

“He wants to stay until the end of his career, but this will depend on the club,” explained the player’s agent.

“However, Morgan is unhappy with his contract since it will expire soon. If Napoli don’t extend it, my client may ask to be transfer listed.”
