Chelsea agree personal terms with Lukaku

After reports earlier that Belgian striker Romelu Lukaku had made his mind up about where his future lies, comes news from Italian journalist Tancredi Palmeri that the 24-year-old has agreed personal terms with Premier League champions Chelsea.

Tancredi posted a tweet claiming that; “Chelsea have reached an agreement on principles with Lukaku. Still under negotiations the fee with Everton,” and when he was quizzed as to whether the West London club would pay £100M to bring him back to Stamford Bridge, Palmeri stated that; “Don't think so. Doesn't look like an easy negotiation. Lukaku though could force it.”

The player cited a need to play Champions League football as the reason behind wanting to leave Goodison Park despite claims late last year by his agent Mino Raiola, that he was 99.9 per cent certain he was going to stay with the Toffees.
