Chelsea and Juventus target in talks for Napoli renewal, confirms agent
Hysaj has become one of the Serie A's most consistent right-backs ever since he arrived at Napoli from Empoli in the summer of 2015. While he has been disappointing this season, the Albanian right-back has still appeared in 11 Serie A games, assisting once.
Hysaj's agent though, could have handed a blow to Chelsea's and Juventus' hopes of signing him, as he recently said in an interview with Radio Kiss Kiss Napoli that he has held talks about a new deal with the partenopei.
Mario Giufreddi said: "I was expecting Ancelotti to fit in well right away: he is facilitated by the international experience that has matured him over the years. The rise of Napoli has been helped by many players of good quality.
"The only one who has suffered a bit from Ancelotti's game is Hysaj , who used for six, seven years to play under Sarri.
"A week ago, I talked to Napoli about the renewal At the moment he has two years left in his contract. The boy has 150 appearances in Serie A, in the last three games his levels have been high. Napoli are good for thinking about the renewal of Hysaj."
