Chelsea and Milan given transfer boost as midfield star announces Lyon exit

Chelsea and AC Milan have emerged as top contenders for French midfield star Corentin Tolisso who was also reported to be a transfer target of Juventus although the Old Lady are said to have retired from the race to sign the talented 23-year-old midfielder.

Tolisso has spoken to French paper Progres claiming that he’s planning to leave Lyon in the summer

“I wanted to play for Lyon last summer because we would have played the Champions League in a new stadum. I thought our team was good enough [for my ambitions] but now I am ready to leave. If there will be offers, I will evaluate them alongside my advisors and tell my President that I want to leave.”

“I’ve listened to his words, he said there are no offers yet, we’ll talk about them when he’ll receive some. I want my situation to be solved as soon as possible but I will be totally focused on my national team until the 13th of June.”
According to reports in France, Chelsea have already made contact to sign Tolisso offering two of their most promising player (Zouma and Traore). AC Milan boss Montella confirmed his interest in Tolisso during an interview he held yesterday.
