Chelsea, Arsenal target won't leave Real Madrid

Luka Modric doesn’t want to leave Real Madrid, according to his latest statements.

The Chelsea and Arsenal target was linked to a return to the Premier League, where he had played with Tottenham Hotspur.

Bayern Munich and PSG also like the 31-year-old, who has scored once and made three assists in all competitions this season for the La Liga champions.

A report from Spanish website Diario Gol (h/t James Walters of the Daily Star) detailed how key man Modric may be deemed expendable by Los Blancos this summer.

“It’s sure not easy to leave Real Madrid. If you leave, nowhere else is like it,” Modric told Marca.

“I’m in the best club in the world at the moment, I’m sure of it. Everyone has their reasons, their motivations, but I, I don’t want to quite Madrid.

“I’m going to do everything possible to stay, but things in football can change quickly”.
