Chelsea have begun pursuing Morata move having missed out on Lukaku

Chelsea have begun taking steps towards catching their second target Real Madrid’s Alvaro Morata, after having missed out on their top target Romelu Lukaku, with the Belgian looking ever closer to sealing a move to English rivals Manchester United, in a deal worth £75 plus add-ons.

Gianlucadimarzio have reported that Blues boss Antonio Conte is furious with the predicament he finds himself in, with last season’s forward set for a move out of Stamford Bridge, following a disagreement with the fiery Italian.

Conte will now go to Plan-B by securing the services of 24-year-old Morata – a player whom Conte worked with during his days in Serie A with side Juventus.
The manager, who is entering just second season with The Pensioners, has already touched base with Morata’s representatives and hopes that a deal could be struck soon.

The Madrid-born player has grown tired at life in Spain, having only played sporadically for his boyhood club. Despite his, he scored over 20 goals for them last season.
