Chelsea hijack Barcelona bid to sign Rabiot?
According to L’Equipe (via Calciomercato.com), there is also Maurizio Sarri's Chelsea who are in the race for the Paris Saint Germain midfielder. Everything seemed done between Rabiot and Barcelona but an agreement wasn't finally found as this keeps the door open for a club like Chelsea. Maurizio Sarri has to find a replacement for Cesc Fabregas, now at Monaco, and Adrien Rabiot is his main target. Chelsea’s management seem to mean business as they can make him an important contract offer in the coming weeks. It is even being reported that the blues might offer Rabiot even more so compared to Barcelona's recent offer. Even if Rabiot's future is uncertain what seems clear is that he will likely be leaving PSG in the coming months. More to come on the matter soon...
