Chelsea hopeful doesn't want to leave Real Madrid

James Rodriguez has committed his future to current club Real Madrid. 

“I want to stay here forever!” James told
Marca, “In football, you never know what will come, but I want to stay here”.

The Colombian star played a role in each of Real’s four goals against Eibar on Saturday, scoring one and making another.

Rodriguez has struggled for playing time this season, Saturday’s game at Ipurua only his sixth of the EPL campaign, in which he has scored twice.

This certainly explains why the World Cup 2014 star was the subject of a conversation between Florentino Perez and Inter owner Jindong Zhang, whose offer for the 25-year-old.

James even visited Turin back in May to talk to Juventus, and has also been linked with Chelsea, rumoured to be his favourite  option were he to move to England.

He also had a word or two to say about the Merengues’ midweek trip to Naples, which they go into with a 3-1 lead: “Napoli have a stadium that is very impressive, but if we’re concentrated and begin the game with great intensity we’ll be on the right path.

“I’ll be working to earn a chance from the Coach”.
