Chelsea identify Napoli star to replace Hazard

In an exclusive from Sunsport this morning, Chelsea have identified their replacement should they lose the services of Eden Hazard this summer. The Belgian international has been linked with a move to Real Madrid and recently confessed that he would consider making the switch if an official offer was made.

Bluse boss Antonio Conte has reportedly put contingencies in place and the journal is reporting that Napoli play-maker Lorenzo Insigne is the man he wants to bring in to Stamford Bridge. The 26-year-old is well known to Conte after his time as head coach of the Italian national team and despite the player recently signing a contract extension at the San Paolo until 2022, Chelsea are understood to be confident of landing him for an offer of £45M.

The champions are also reportedly willing to double his current salary to £200,000-a-week to try to tempt him to the Premier League. Insigne has also been the subject of interest from Barcelona and Manchester United in recent times but chose to extend his stay at his hometown club.
