Chelsea keep faith in Conte, will target Juventus star in January

Chelsea have renewed their faith in beleaguered Coach Antonio Conte, the Mirror writes.

The Italian Coach saw his Chelsea side fall 3-0 to Roma on Tuesday, a heavy defeat for the Blues, who could very well miss out on qualification to the Champions League second round.

Things aren’t looking a lot better in the Premier League, where the Blues have already lost to Burnley, Crystal Palace and Manchester City, and languish in fourth place, a whole nine points short of Pep Guardiola’s side.

This weekend’s clash with Manchester United could, therefore, already be decisive for the former Juventus Coach.

Conte has been spared his blushes by the Blues’ many injuries, which range from the indispensable N’Golo Kante’ to Victor Moses, Danny Drinkwater and even Alvaro Morata.

It hasn’t been easy integrating big buys like Antonio Rudiger and Tiemoue Bakayoko, either.

According to the Mirror, however, the Pensioners are ready to invest in January so as to give Conte the players he wants. One name in particular: that of Alex Sandro, of Juventus, who was already heavily pursued in summer.
