Chelsea legend Vialli to become new Sampdoria president?

Massimo Ferrero could be forced to resign as Sampdoria president by the end of the year or at the beginning of 2017 if the Italian businessman is found guilty for the bankrupt of airline company Livingston.
Ferrero is negotiating a plea bargain but, under the Italian law, that would be equivalent to being condemned and the current Sampdoria president would be forced to resign.

According to Il Secolo XIX, the club’s board is already considering a list of candidates who could replace the shifty president who is currently in charge.

Sampdoria and Chelsea legend Gianluca Vialli is being linked with the presidency of Sampdoria, though the former Juventus striker who is currently working as Premier League pundit for Sky Italia, has never showed any interest in changing his job to enter in any club’s control room.

Could he be tempted by the offer of his old club?

Vialli netted 100 goals in 250 games with Sampdoria during his game career.
