Chelsea, Man United target: Roma made me promises

Radja Nainggolan says that he will stay at Roma, but he’s expecting the club to accept his contract demands.

The Chelsea and Manchester United target is appreciated all over Europe for his tenacity, technique and eye for goal.

The all-action midfielder netted 14 goals in all competitions for the Giallorossi this season, adding seven more assists.

“I’ve already said that I want to stay at Roma,” the Antwerp native told dh.net.

The midfielder hinted, however, that Roma had to offer him a better deal.

“I have made promises, I have respected them, and now it’s Roma’s turn. I am a man of my word, and Roma have made me promises, too.

“I am waiting, I’m not giving an ultimatum, I’m happy in Rome”.

The Belgian international had recently told Sky Sports that he didn’t want to talk about a potential move to Manchester.

Jose Mourinho is very enthusiastic about both Nainggolan and Roma team-mate Kevin Strootman.

" Manchester United's interest in me? I don't want to say anything on the matter. I don't want to say if it is true or not. I am not focused on my future at this moment in time, I am on my vacations. I want to relax a bit after a hard fought season".
