Chelsea prepare bid for €55m Juve star, have met his agent
The Juventus star is being chased by Chelsea and Manchester City, but had a number of suitors talk to agent Alessandro Lucci during that trip.
Chelsea are, however, considering a €55 million offer for the defender, though president Andrea Agnelli is going to stonewall it, unless Bonucci himself asks to leave.
Though the defender defined all speculation of an eventual departure as “talk” in midweek after Italy’s win over Uruguay, evidence is mounting that he is at least listening to offers.
A recent CM article reminded everyone that Bonucci made it clear earlier this season that he would consider alternatives, despite signing a new deal with the Bianconeri.
The centre-back played in the recent Champions League final against Real Madrid, and was directly responsible for two of the Merengues’ goals, a rare bad performance for the 30-year-old.
