Chelsea could be ready to bring in more defensive reinforcements this summer with the news that the champions are considering a £13M swoop for Ajax centre-back Jairo Riedewald. Transfer Market Web reports that the Blues have already made enquiries as to the 20-year-old availability and boss Antonio Conte could be set to make his move.
 

The youngster, who has made three appearances at senior level for the Netherlands, is currently under contract at Ajax until 2020 and the club are understood to be keen for him to stay in place next season.
 

With midfielder Davy Klaassen likely to leave this summer and with the Dutch giants still to find a successor to Peter Bosz, Chelsea will face a tough test trying to prize Riedewald away from the Johan Cruyff ArenA but the offer of guaranteed Champions League football next term, could see the player trying to instigate a move to Stamford Bridge.
