Chelsea's Conte wants Sevilla winger signature

The Premier League champions Chelsea are interested in signing Sevilla winger Vitolo. Reports have emerged in Spain via Football Espana that Antonio Conte’s side have joined in the race for the highly-sought-after Spanish international, but the west-London club would have to battle it out with Atletico Madrid for the player, and also match the €40m release clause set by his southern-Spanish side.

Manchester City has also been linked with the 27-year-old, but the midfielder has already stated that he is unsure about where he will be playing football next season, and that his loyalties lie with his contract at Sevilla.

Speaking to La Provincia earlier this month, Vitolo said: "Atletico Madrid? I don't know what'll happen...they aren't the only interested club, there are more teams.”

"I haven't decided anything yet and moreover, I'm under contract at Sevilla and I owe them the greatest of respect.

"The day I leave Sevilla I'll be really sad to go, it's been a wonderful experience that will stay with me forever.”
