Chelsea, Sarri: 'Premier League title race was always to be between City and Liverpool'

Chelsea are preparing to take on Crystal Palace this weekend and Chelsea boss Maurizio Sarri spoke at his typical press conference ahead of the clash. Here is what the Italian had to say:

“Title chance? You know very well my opinion. As I said from the beginning of the season there are two teams a step above, Liverpool and Manchester. Now there is a little gap, I think City will be able to recover the gap, the title is fighting between City and Liverpool.

“On Hazard’s role? He can play as a winger, or he is able to play in the centre. I am really very happy with him in this position, he can score but can open space for team-mates, and come to play with the team-mates. I am very happy with his position. But in the future he can play as a winger of course

“Hazard’s future? I think it is time to decide [on his future]. I have not the power to decide, I am the coach. I am not the president, I am not in charge of the transfer market, I am the coach. I want to speak to him only about the position on the pitch.

“You know that in Italy there are some problems in football, especially for Naples I think. When I was there we stopped two matches, one against Lazio in Rome and Sampdoria in Genoa. I am very sorry for Kalidou, because he is a wonderful man. I am really very sorry for him. I think in Italy we can do more for this problem."
