Chelsea set €150m asking price for Diego Costa

Chelsea are asking for a steep price for Diego Costa, even for these current prodigal times.

SFR editor Johnny Severin (via 101greatgoals) claim that the Blues have told Tianjin Quanjian that Costa’s pricetag is of €150 million.

Tianjin had already had an €107m offer refused recently, with the 28-year-old also being told he’d earn €100m over three seasons in three seasons in the Far East.

This news comes in the wake of the disagreements which Costa had with the Blues over the winter, when the former Atletico Madrid striker tried to force a departure from Stamford Bridge.

The striker has scored 16 Premier League goals and five assists. This reports comes only a few days after Chelsea were talking to Costa about a new deal, at least according to Sky Sports UK.

Previously sinbinned for trying to force a move away from Stamford Bridge, the Spanish international has since reconciled with Coach Antonio Conte, when it looked like he would leave in a deal worth €85 million, likely for Chinese club Tianjin.
