Chelsea star sends message to Real Madrid

Alvaro Morata has enjoyed a strong start to his career at Stamford Bridge. Per his own words, he has no intention of leaving Chelsea anytime soon. However, he spoke about a potential return to the Santiago Bernabeu, and the potential for Neymar to call it home.

When asked about the potential for Neymar to take a similar route to Luis Figo, Morata sounded measured. “I think it is difficult because of his past,” said the Spaniard, “but we have already seen that there are no impossibilities in Madrid.”

Speaking about a potential return, he similarly left the door open, however, conceding it would only “after winning everything at Chelsea.” He added, “I do not think it happens, honestly, but you never know. I do not even think about it because I'm very happy in London.”

On the possibility of Chelsea taking on Real Madrid in the Champions League, Morata sounded excited by the potential. “Of course I would like. And win it, obviously. I wish we were both as far as possible, but I would sign that final without a doubt.”
